oh my, my boy is 9. the last year of single digits. where has the time gone? my heart feels heavy to write this post. it wasn't that long ago that you were my newborn perfect angel snuggled so perfectly in my arms. i remember every detail of the day you were born, rainy, windy and grey clouds filled the sky. but, i knew you were my sunshine and would soon be shining on all of us. it's true, aidan, you have a special something inside of you that makes me smile each and every time i see you - your warm heart, your kind soul, your inquisitive mind, your beautiful eyes that sparkle and shine. if i could have custom ordered my perfect son, you are it. thank you for choosing me to be your mommy, you make me so proud each day. i love you more than the amount of stars in this universe, sand on all the beaches, water in the oceans, i could go on and on. i am so in love with you. happy 9th birthday handsome boy.
