Our little boy is going to be a Kindergartner in a mere 2 months! His preschool class performed a singing program for all of us to enjoy. We are so very proud of our Ty-Ty! Congratulations big boy!

Adventures in Petaluma
For the first field trip of the summer the boys and I were joined by three of my favs: gene, makena, and kylee. We took a field trip to Mrs. Grossman's Sticker Factory in Petaluma. We were given a tour that taught us all about the history and process of sticker making. The kids were given lots and lots of free stickers and even made some sticker art at the end.

We found a nearby park to avoid rush hour traffic back home and finished the evening with dinner in downtown Petaluma and fresh ice cream from lala's creamery. fun, fun, fun!

Father's Day 2010
We celebrated Father's Day for the 2nd year with the Murios. We spent a nice afternoon at Alta Vista Park and finished the evening off with a most delicious dinner at Morton's Steakhouse. YUM!
Beautiful weather, beautiful friends, beautiful kids = best dad's day ever!

Gilroy Gardens
It's been MONTHS - I know...but we're back! And this summer we plan to have lots of fun stories and adventures to share with you.
We took a trip to Gilroy Gardens last weekend and enjoyed what basically was our own private park! Rock Star parking got our day off to a perfect start. We strolled leisurely through the beautiful grounds, went on ride after ride - never having to wait in line, and finished the day with lunch and huge slurpees (for the boys, not me). It was warm but not too hot, and all in all was a great day!

Easter Fun
We celebrated a quiet Easter here at home with Lola. V brought some of the cutest girls we know over to celebrate with us too. Makena and the boys had fun coloring their eggs, eating yummy brunch fare, and hunting for Easter treats. Even little Kylee got in on the action - running all around the backyard, basket in hand. It was certainly a blustery day though and the threat of rain loomed all morning long. Luckily the Easter Bunny was able to spread Easter Cheer in the backyard before the buckets of rain began to pour.

Egg Hunt Shenanigans
We attended the annual Egg Hunt at the park down the street. Tyler was too "nerbous" to participate but Aidan and Justin had no problem whatsoever!
After the candy was collected (small, but better than nothing) the boys had fun chasing each other, making silly faces, and being boys! It was a great start to our Spring Break.

Tyler's First Field Trip
Tyler experienced his first field trip to the San Francisco Aquarium a few weeks ago. Dad chaperoned and he had his best friend Noah in his group, double cool! The highlight of the trip weren't the amazing sea creatures, though those were great, it was the bus ride! Tyler LOVES riding on public transportation...bus, BART, planes, trains, etc!

He and Noah had fun exploring the Pier 39, the aquarium, and posing for snaps along the way. It was a great first field trip!
