Mama's Fish House

One of my most favorite places in the world is Mama's Fish House in Paia, HI. It's gotten extremely popular since our very first visit 8 or 9 years ago. I remember when it was still the original restaurant next to an old house on the beach with kite surfers in the ocean. Now the restaurant has expanded and the house next door has been renovated into the cutest inn ever and the kite surfers are still there, but the restaurant itself seems to be getting more commercial you know?

Nevertheless, the food is still amazing and the beach is heavenly.

Tyler had a great time in the ocean, at one point he went pretty far out, not past the rock reef but if he could he just might. Aidan was a little more skeptical and didn't want to get in too deep.


It was all fun until Ty-Ty cut himself on the rocks and blood started gushing from his heel. Can we say "DRAMA"?!?! He cried and cried, and I thought for sure the management was going to tell us to go away!

Luckily a band aid cured the injury and we went and had some shaved ice. Problem Solved!
